Teen attacked in Texas Whataburger for wearing 'Make America Neat Again' hat

A 16-year-former boy was verbally assaulted and attacked for wearing a "Brand America Corking Once again" hat.

A video shared on Twitter shows Texas teen Hunter Richard sitting in a berth with his friends when an unidentified man approaches, throws a drinkable in Richard's face, and then steals his MAGA hat. As the assaulter walks out of the fast food joint, he yells, "You ain't supporting south***."

Twitter user Brax, Richard's s friend, shared the video on his Twitter account. He captioned the post, "So went out for a 2am snack and my friend (wearing a MAGA hat) had his hat stolen and a drink thrown in his face (and mine, yous tin can see my arms on the left of the video)."

The incident happened at a Whataburger restaurant in San Antonio on Wednesday forenoon. A representative from Whataburger Corporate Communications tells Yahoo Lifestyle, "We were shocked to see this video and certainly don't condone this type of client behavior in our restaurants. To be clear, no Whataburger employees were involved or witnessed the incident."

Richard told News four San Antonio, "I support my President and if yous don't let's have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off. I merely think a conversation most politics is more productive for the unabridged whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me."

The teen said the attack was unprovoked and some of his hair was pulled during the assault. An alleged witness, notwithstanding, told KENS 5 they saw the three teens in the video joking nearly 'hanging blacks' and killing off minorities before the attack occurred.
